The Keycafe and Hostaway integration automates the most time-consuming part of managing a short-term rental: key handovers. When a new reservation is created in Hostaway, a corresponding booking is automatically generated in Keycafe, with a unique access code sent directly to your guest.
This automation extends throughout the guest journey. Any changes to a reservation in Hostaway, such as a last-minute booking, an early check-in, or a cancellation, are instantly synced with Keycafe, ensuring your key access codes are always accurate and up to date.

To set up the Keycafe and Hostaway integration, you simply connect your Hostaway account within the Keycafe app by entering your Hostaway API credentials. Once the setup steps are complete, your reservations begin syncing automatically, and you can manage all access settings from your Hostaway dashboard without having to switch between platforms. There is no additional charge to use the integration beyond your existing Keycafe and Hostaway subscriptions. As long as you are an active customer on both platforms, the integration is available at no extra cost.
While access codes issued for guests are already automatically restricted to the duration of their stay, you can also customize other access rules to fit your operations.You can create scheduled access for cleaning staff, maintenance crews, or other team members. You can also adjust access windows, revoke codes, or add manual overrides if needed, giving you flexibility and control over who can access your properties and when.
